TRC General Manager’s letter to DCA

In December last year, Tamworth mayor Russell Webb wrote to the NSW Planning Minister saying that Council told EDF that it supports the pumped hydro project in principle.

At last week’s Council meeting, the majority of councillors refused to confirm the simple fact that Council has never voted to support this project, in principle or otherwise.

After the Council meeting, we wrote to TRC’s General Manager asking who made those representations of in-principle support, when, and by what authority. You can now read the GM’s reply here:
